Deacon Gregory Bzdon
Deacon Greg Bzdon has been in Night Players for more than 25 years! He has performed in many productions TWICE including: Annie, Jesus Christ Superstar, Oliver, The Wizard of Oz, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Scared Scriptless. Other productions he performed in include Willy Wonka, Peter Pan, The King and I, Godspell, Cats, Hello Dolly, Into the Woods, South Pacific, Dead Man Walking Project, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Bye Bye Birdie, Giving them the Business, Give My Regards to Broadway, and the 25th Anniversary Show Hale St. Theatre Company. He also was in the movie Dear Marge-Gramnesia (Columbia University Productions) and his television appearances include being a professional tennis umpire.

Anthony Lajb-Garcia
ACTOR
Anthony Garcia has been in Night Players for five years. Anthony has performed in Nunsense II (2015 Night Players Production), The Roaring 20’s (2016 Night Players Production), and Seussical (2017 Night Players Production), and he played Albert Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie (2018 Night Players Production).
Given the option to travel anywhere in the world, Anthony would choose to go to Mexico to learn about his heritage and culture. His favorite musical is In The Heights because the story hits close to home for him. Outside of theatre, Anthony enjoys playing guitar and basketball.
Mary Ellen Gold
YOUTH RECRUITMENT & ACTRESS
Mary Ellen Gold is in her 17th year in Night Players. She performed in Finian’s Rainbow (2005 Night Players Production), From Oz To You (2013 Night Players Production), and The Roaring Twenties (2016 Night Players Production) and Bye Bye Birdie (2018 Night Players Production). She is looking forward to working with this group of people. Mary Ellen grew up in Chicago and her daughter, Becca, has inspired her to perform.

Outside of theatre Mary Ellen enjoys music, both listening to it and singing, and being with friends. Her favorite musicals are A Chorus Line, Wicked, and Joseph because she enjoys the music and the memory of seeing them with people she loves.
Rebecca Gold
Rebecca Gold is in her 17th year with Night Players. Rebecca has performed and worked on many productions. Some of her favorites include Peter Pan (2008 Night Players Production), Shrek (2014 Night Players Production), and Seussical (2004 & 2017 Night Players Production). She is from Chicago and JoAnn Keto (Producer) has been the most influential in her performance career.
In Rebecca’s opinion the best part about performing is being able to lose yourself in a performance. Once the curtain opens, the production becomes about engaging the audience in the magic of the show. Outside of theatre, Rebecca enjoys teaching young students dance and training to continue to grow as a dancer.

Kathy Grzeczka
ACTRESS
Kathy Grzeczka is in her second year with Night Players. She played the role of Mrs. Doris MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie (2018 Night Players Production). Her daughter, Abby, has been the most influential in her performance career because she is proud of how brave Abby is to get up on stage and give it her all.

Outside of theatre, Kathy likes to spend time with family and friends, to read, do craft projects, and photography. She has seen Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis and Miss Saigon several times, but also enjoy productions such as Brigadoon and White Christmas. In her opinion, the best part of performing is the camaraderie with the other performers. The cast is in it together trying to entertain everyone the best they can.

Gregory Roberts

Gregory Roberts is performing in his fourth year with Night Players Production. Greg performed in Bye Bye Birdie (2018 Night Players Production), Seussical (2017 Night Players Production) and The Roaring 20’s (2016 Night Players Production). Greg grew up in Chicago and his mother, Violet Roberts, has been the most influential in his performance career.

Greg’s favorite quotes are “A man’s got to know his limitations” -Clint Eastwood Magnum Force and “Don’t volunteer information” -Unknown. His favorite musical is West Side Story and Greg believes the best part about performing is the day of the performance. Outside of theatre, Greg likes photography, playing in the band Running Madd, music in general, and to read.

Tim Steigerwald

Tim Steigerwald is in his third year with Night Players. Tim played Horton in Seussical (2017 Night Players Production) and Harry MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie (2018 Night Players Production). Born and raised in Chicago, Tim believes his father was the most influential in his performance career.
Given the option to travel anywhere in the world, Tim would choose to go to Italy to see his ancestors. His favorite musical is The Music Man because it is done in rap. Outside of theatre, Tim likes to sing karaoke. In his opinion, the best part about performing is creating something from nothing.
